Reference: PR/591808_1790195167EHS Manager - Manufacturing (Confidential Company) Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 + Bonus EligibilityCompany Summary: A global materials manufacturing organization is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site-level EHS programs at a key production facility. This role reports directly to the Plant Director and is responsible for driving safety performance, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives across the operation.The organization operates within a diversified specialty materials platform serving a wide range of industrial markets. Built on a long-standing manufacturing legacy, the company continues to invest in operational excellence, safety culture, and continuous improvement. EHS is viewed as a critical business partner, with strong support from plant and corporate leadership.This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of a plant's EHS function, influence culture, and lead impactful safety and sustainability initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.The EHS Manager responsibilities include: * Lead all environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs for the facility * Drive a proactive, behavior-based safety culture focused on risk identification and prevention * Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations * Manage permitting, regulatory reporting, inspections, and audit activities * Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation * Conduct risk assessments and drive hazard mitigation and continuous improvement efforts * Partner closely with plant leadership and operations to improve safety performance and accountability * Develop and deliver EHS training programs and ensure workforce engagement and competency * Manage workers' compensation programs in coordination with HR * Track and analyze EHS metrics to identify trends and establish improvement initiatives * Lead emergency preparedness and response planning for the site * Champion employee involvement through safety committees and engagement programs * Lead sustainability initiatives and track environmental performance metricsThe EHS Manager should have the following qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) * Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibility * Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance requirements * Proven track record of improving safety performance and reducing incidents * Experience leading audits, inspections, and compliance programs * CSP, REM, or Six Sigma certification preferred * Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis capabilities * Experience building and influencing safety culture at the plant level * Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization * Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and corporate stakeholdersBenefits: * Competitive base salary with bonus eligibility * Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits * Paid time off and holidays * High-visibility role reporting directly to plant leadership * Opportunity to lead and shape EHS strategy at the site level * Stable, well-established manufacturing organization with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvementIf you are interested in the EHS Manager opportunity, please don't wait to apply.
