You will work in our closed-door, modern pharmacy facility, focusing on:compounding non-sterile medications, including topicals (creams/lotions), tablets, gummies, etc.adherence to USP <795> and USP <800> requirementsmaintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environmentThis role plays a pivotal part in delivering safe, high-quality medications to our patients, and promotes impactful pharmaceutical services for our patients.This role requires current registration + active license with the state of AZ as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.Shift Schedule — 2 Positions AvailableShift 1: Evening/NightSunday–Wednesday5:30 PM–4:00 AMShift 2: DayWednesday–Saturday6:30 AM–5:00 PMWhat's In It For You:Highly competitive base compensation + benefits packageClosed-door facility - No customer service involved, focusing purely on pharmacy operationsContinuous professional development - Gain valuable experience with USP <795> and USP <800> , compounding unique formulations such as gummies, pharmacy automation, and more in our innovative pharmacyBuilt-in growth opportunities - Hims' in-house career progression plan enhances your career growth, offering pathways into highly specialized areas of pharmacy such as non-sterile and sterile compounding, pharmacy leadership, and pharmacy automationIn This Role, You Will:Clean, calibrate, and maintain non-sterile compounding equipment and designated workspaces.Assist with staging raw materials and managing non-sterile compounding inventory.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.Participate in site-specific training, ongoing competency assessments, and annual revalidation.Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs.Follow USP <795> and <800> requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.Compound non-sterile medications (tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummy formulations, etc.) following prescription orders and site SOPs upon completion of certification.You Have:High school diploma or equivalent.Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Arizona.At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; prior experience in hospital or compounding settings preferred.Familiarity with USP <795> and <800> standards and non-sterile compounding processes.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and record-keeping.Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment.Organized, dependable, and collaborative team player.Commitment to patient safety and quality standards.Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):Competitive salary & comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & visionConditions of Employment:This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs. These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required.This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift.
