Creating—whether a quilt, garment, home-cooked meal, gift for another, or written words on a page—gives my life meaning, challenge and enjoyment. Three generations of my family lived on the farm where I was raised. I count myself fortunate to have milked cows, cleaned chicken houses, thrown hay bales, made my own clothes, and raised, then harvested a flourishing garden. Family is always a priority. I lost my daughter in 2019 and my husband in 2020. However, my son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and in-laws bring me joy.
